Lab testing & Certificate of Analysis
Kratom is a natural product, and its quality can vary from harvest to harvest. That's why every batch we sell is tested by an independent, third-party laboratory before it's offered for sale. Testing is not optional for us — it's how we make sure what's on the label is what's in the bag.
What we test for
- Alkaloid content — verifying the leaf's natural alkaloid profile, including mitragynine, so each batch meets a consistent standard.
- Heavy metals — screening for contaminants such as lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury.
- Microbial safety — checking for harmful bacteria, mold, and yeast (for example salmonella and E. coli).
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A Certificate of Analysis is the lab's official document reporting the results of these tests for a specific batch. It's your independent proof that a product has been screened and what it contains.
How to request a COA
We're happy to share the Certificate of Analysis for any product. Just email us at support@kratoma.com with the product name and, if you have it, the batch number from your package, and we'll send the corresponding lab report.
A note on appearance
Because kratom is a plant, natural variation in color and shade between batches is completely normal and is not a sign of a quality problem. Our testing and labeling ensure you always receive the correct, verified product.
